What it is for

When the cooker hood or ventilation stops, the duct stays open to the outside. Cold air comes down, moisture rises, the neighbours' cooking smells come back and the wind rattles the duct. The DOMUX non-return damper closes the passage automatically as soon as extraction stops, and only opens under the pressure of outgoing air. You keep the heat in your home and stop backdraughts.

Construction

Corrosion-resistant galvanised steel body, lightweight aluminium flap, stainless steel shaft and spring for a positive closure year after year. The rubber perimeter seal makes the joint airtight and cushions the flap: operation stays silent, even on windy days.

Installation

Ø 125 mm male/male connector, compatible with rigid ducts, pipes, flexible hoses and vent grilles of the same diameter. Vertical or horizontal fitting, at the outlet or in-line. Push on, point the arrow in the airflow direction, secure: it takes a few minutes and needs no special tools.
